ISRAEL CORE
סטנדרט FHIR מורכב מרכיבי בסיס הנקראים "משאבים" (resources). את המשאבים ניתן לאגד יחד במתווים שונים, להגדרת תהליכים קליניים ואדמיניסטרטיביים. ניתן לערוך התאמות במשאבים הסטנדרטיים על מנת שישקפו צורך ארגוני או את צרכי מערכת הבריאות המקומית: "פרופיל" הוא משאב או אוסף משאבים שהותאמו לצורך מסוים.
בעת מימוש מקרה בוחן, נעשה שימוש במשאבים ובפרופילים המתאימים לאותו שימוש.
פרופילים מסוימים נחשבים ל"פרופילי ליבה" – אוסף פרופילים מרכזיים שנעשה בהם שימוש תכוף ולמעשה משמשים בסיס להעברות מידע – למשל "מטופל", "מטפל" ו"אבחנה". צוות ה-Israel Core של הקהילה פועל לייצר את פרופילי הליבה הישראליים בצורה שתהיה מוסכמת ומותאמת לצרכים המקומיים. טיוטות צוות ה-Israel Core לפרופילים הלאומיים מפורסמות לעיון הקהילה בפלטפורמת simplifier. סוגיות מרכזיות יועלו לדיון במסגרת מפגשים לחברי הקהילה, וכן במסגרת הפורום הייעודי שבאתר. חברי הקהילה מוזמנים לקחת חלק בגיבוש פרופילי הליבה, להשתתף בדיוני קבוצת העבודה הפתוחים, ולשלוח הערות לתוצרים.

ISRAEL CORE
The IL Core team is working to create Israel's FHIR Core.
The FHIR® standard is comprised of basic building blocks called 'resources'. The various resources can be incorporated and merged into different matrices to define clinical, logistical, and administrative processes.
Standard resources can be tweaked to reflect an organizational or system needs – a 'profile' is a resource or compilation of resources adapted for such a specific need. To implement a use case, various pertinent resources and profiles are used.
Certain profiles are recognized as 'core profiles' that set the basis for many use cases such as Patient, Practitioner, and Observation. For the benefit of uniformity and standardization, the IL Core team of the FHIR IL community is proactively building Israel's locally adapted core profiles.
Community members are invited to take part in crafting the core profiles, participate in open work group discussions, and share their take regarding the outputs.

Community Input
Key issues that come up in the process of crafting core profiles are brought up for discussion in the community forum and community meetings. Community members are encouraged to take an active part in the discussion and share experiences and learnings, as well as raise new topics.
